Ethical Palm Reading
Good palm-reading practice avoids fear, medical diagnosis, guaranteed predictions, coercion, and claims that a crease fixes someone's fate. Symbolic interpretation is most constructive when it supports reflection and personal agency.
- Do not predict death, serious illness, infertility, crime, or inevitable disaster from a hand.
- Do not tell someone they are permanently defined by a crease or finger proportion.
- Do not substitute palm reading for medical, legal, financial, or mental-health professionals.
- Use uncertainty explicitly and preserve the seeker's agency.
- For minors or vulnerable people, avoid frightening or coercive readings entirely.
